Those are good pals.
Our dogs have slowly lost privileges through the years... When Mrs. addiction and I were first married and in an apartment, our first two slept in bed with us. When we moved to our first house, they got their own loveseat in our bedroom. When we moved to our next house, they still had the run of the place, mostly, but slept in the hallway outside our room. Now that we’re in our new home (out in the country), they have a fenced-in area outside with a dog door to an enclosure inside, and spend most of their time inside in our mudroom by the kitchen. We try to make time every day for a long walk off-leash around the pond or a fetch session upstairs in the kids’ playroom, and if we’re watching a movie we’ll let them join us and snuggle on top of blankets on the couches. Our dogs aren’t nearly as spoiled as they once were (the 3 we have now never knew just how good the first 2 had it - ha) , but they still live a pretty good life!

Mine also rules my bed
She forces me to sleep at very strange angles sometimes.

The dogs are NOT welcome on the bed. And they know it.
